Hardware Living Wills

Seems BBSpot is reporting that some users are taking out living wills for their hardware. AMD is reported as requiring FX chips to carry Living wills so that they be used properly or die.

Protest cruelty to hardware people. Your neighbor may be mercilessly overclocking that poor old celeron way past its useful days. Hardware should have the right to die peacefully. (Unless of course its a 75GXP IBM Deskstar, in which case they die well before their time)
