Default Re: PHP from the Ground Up

I started programming in a C++ class in high schoo. Then I became addicted to a PC game called Tribes. I eventually learned it's scripting language. Then one day someone suggested to me I learn php, he said it's extremely simliary to the tribes language. It was and I learned pretty quickly.

this past week I've been working on a website for my tribes2 mapping group(Mappers Extreme-the oldest existing mapping group in tribes history). the site we're hosting on I just found out had seperate server for hosting php. So i've been building a php adminastration interface (add staff memeber/maps/links) with a mysql database. Not bad for someone who'se known php for under a year
