Default Trading Tom for COMDEX??

COMDEX has been postponed this year but have no fear -
Tom's Hardware Expo is here! This new show can help you fill in that gap and reach
your important buyers and don't forget--Tom's Hardware Expo is part of one of the
largest IT events in the nation--TECHXNY! How often can you receive the advantages
of mixing old and new? TECHXNY is an established, well-known event and Tom's is a
trusted name in hardware, attracting a new audience and offering new, exciting
possibilities.

It would be interesting to show up just to see if the show is more hype than show. If Tom doesn't get the backing from manufacturers and sponsors It will be Tom who postpones his show next year.

Read all about it.

Its good to know Tom has backing by Tom. I think I can safely say that we have all seen events and products that were brought to market with the sole backing on the producer, in most cases these products flopped badly.

I wonder what makes THG think that it can succeed where a huge endeavor like COMDEX has slowed down. One might turn to THG and say "Take the clue from COMDEX and don't do this".
