A Closer Look (Exterior):
If the outward appearance of this case could be summed up in one word, it would be sleek. NZXT goes for a minimalist approach with the Whisper that I'm rather liking. As many modders can tell you, a minimalist case is like a blank canvas to an artist, just waiting for the creativity to launch itself upon it. The front of the case features a full length hinged door with slits running the length to add style and allow airflow. The bottom intake also has a handy dust screen on the front and a blue LED in the fan that shines through quite nicely.
The case does not have a side window. This is to be expected given the sound proof insulating foam covering the inside. With a little clever modding, however, you put in some really nice inlays without compromising the sound proofing.

The top of the case has a stowaway area that houses the front audio ports along with two USB ports and an eSATA port.
The back of the case has the standard assortment of expansion slots. A nice feature is the inclusion of holes for an external liquid cooling system.
