Audio Quality:
We connected our 4th generation iPod to the provided cable, and placed the
iPod on the provided lay-down cradle. The miniature remote is nearly as small
and thin as a credit card. Connectivity is via line-of-sight infrared so you
must point the end of the remote directly at the face of the unit. The display
shows you the time, connected device or mode ( iPod in our case ) and lets you
know if you are connected or not via the display. We adjusted the time and bass
and treble to our liking, but the system sports a built-in equalizer with standard
presets should you just want to jump in and listen to your music.
The sound quality was extremely amazing for even a much larger stereo system!
The bass and treble adjustments were outstanding as was the feedback and response
from the tiny remote. Further adjustments to volume, track, bass, treble, etc.
went without a hitch from even about 20 feet away. The deep rich sound and nice
high hat treble sound was absolutely impressive. Having tried other iPod sound
systems I can say without a doubt that this is definitely one of the very best
systems tried and tested even compared to those found in sound stores.
