Monolize Tagan

Testing:

Tagan Monolize's main feature is not the ease of installation, but the gigantic fans that were put on the side for the extra airflow. I decided that running some tests to determine if all that extra airflow is in anyway beneficial would be the best idea.

Here are the results:

Monolize
Monolize
Temperature with both 250 mm fans on
Temperature with both 250 mm fans off
Monolize
Monolize
Temperature with Front fan

Temperature with Rear fan

As you can see from the pictures there are significant improvements when going from not using the fans to using them. The difference on the system as well as the graphics card was approximately 2-4 degrees C. This difference is very significant especially if you are planning on overclocking your system.

Conclusion:

The Monolize case from Tagan is definitely a case worth considering. It offers not only a very nice looking place to put all of your hardware in, but also offers a significant performance boost with its twin 250 mm fans. The small shortcomings that this case presents are greatly overpowered by the case's advantages. Priced at 129.99 from newegg.com this case is definitely worth considering if you want to keep your system cooler while having it overclocked.
