The OCZ ModStream Closeup
Despite OCZ's EZMod technology, the power supply is technically not completely modular as the 20-pin, and 4-pin ATX cords are directly connected to the power supply. Though this is not a huge deal, as a majority of computer systems will need these power connectors anyway. On the actual modular side, there are connections for four 4-pin power connectors as well as SATA and PCI Express connectors.
As you can see the OCZ ModStream is an excellent looking PSU. In additon to the slick gloss black finish and blue connectors, the cables are prerounded and shielded with blue connectors at the ends. The ModStream will certainly look good in any case it finds a home in.
The cables included with the package are listed above and should include everything you may need for your system. Each cord is UV sensitive which is another bonus for the modding enthusiasts out there. Even the AC power cord has sort of a modders touch to it; although not UV sensitive it has blue translucent ends and a translucent plastic cord. Also included are 4 mounting screws, five colored Velcro straps, and 6 zip ties to further manage your cable setup.
This ModStream power supply is the 520 watt version with a peak power of 620 watts. For you international customers you get Active PFC. However all models feature OCZ's EMI Control Technology and a 3 year warranty.
