Packaging:

The packaging for the NP8800 contains all the directions for using the laptop cooler along with all the specifications of the unit. It has very detailed steps for unfolding the unit and putting it to action.

First Impressions:

After unpacking the cooler, it felt light, which is good if I was going to be transporting with my laptop all the time. The collapsible design also means that it won't be taking up all the space in my case. I really liked the cable management that it uses to tuck away the USB plug. I thought the fitted USB slot was a nice touch.

The Test:

For our test I used my Sager NP2090 laptop. I ran 2 instances of Prime95 to max out the CPU and an instance of the new CUDA enabled Folding@Home to max out the GPU. All of this was with the aim of generating as much heat as possible and measuring how the NP8800 dissipated it using HWMonitor.
