By now your probably wondering one of two things... What is PWM? And what does it do for you?

Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) refers to the method of applying power to the fan in a pulse method the width of the pulse is varied to change the fan speed. typically the frequency of the fan's pulses is higher than that of normal human hearing. What this means to you is that this particular CPU cooler is about as quiet as a soft whisper about 5 feet away. While still providing amazing cooling performance.
