Xilence Icebox Passive Hard Disk Cooler

Packaging:

The Xilence Icebox came in a very small, tight-fit, well packaged box. The front of the box contains the Xilence logo, along with features and a Voluntary Quality Check (VQC) seal of approval. Although both sides of the box are not exactly pretty, they contain the specifications in four different languages. The back end of the box just contains more Xilence products and their pictures in a not so colorful display of red and black.

A Closer Look:

Upon opening the box, two small instruction manuals (one in English and the other I believe is in German) for the installation for the Xilence Icebox were placed neatly on top of a thin piece of foam. The Xilence Icebox itself was very neatly packed inside the box, surrounded by foam stabilizing inserts. In two small plastic sealable bags, were the dampers, panhead screws, sunk screws, and a ground wire. Though of course there was nothing really wrong with the way it was packaged, one screw seemed to have gotten loose and lodged its way into the fins of the HDD cooler, probably during shipping.
