Razer Boomslang Collector's Edition 2007 Gaming Mouse

A Little History:

Razer's latest Boomslang™ offering comes with the name, the Razer Boomslang™ Collector's Edition 2007 and appears to be a revamped optical sensor version of their original Boomslang™ mouse offering newer features such as green LED lighting, new light-weight ergonomics and the latest in optical mouse technology.

The original Razer Boomslang™ 2000 and 1000 dpi mouse was the world’s first dedicated gaming mouse, and it was released late in the year of 1998. This first gaming mouse came in two flavors and had up to a 2000 dpi sensor and featured unique Razer™ software that allowed "On-The-Fly Sensitivity" changing without having to exit the game or use a control panel gui to change it. One of the unique characteristics this mouse introduced was the ultra-large rubberized finger buttons, which to this day characterize the many Razer™ mice from other manufacturer's mice. Razer™ stopped making the original Boomslang™ gaming mouse back in the year of 2001. During its' time, the Boomslang™ Gaming Mouse won many awards for innovation and was one of the best selling mice around.
