The Layout:

With two 12,000-square-foot combinable indoor arenas Hard Knocks has the area to make missions come alive. Better yet the owner Joe Wheeler is comitted to rearranging the arenas on a regular basis so there is no mastery of the map going on here. Walk out on the mission floor and your skills and knowledge of your weapon count, go ahead and try bunny hopping. Eah of the combat arenas are fully air-conditioned and will feature realistic sound and lighting that can be adjusted to full night or full day.

No cheaters allowed, not that you can, as the sensors are placed in multiple locations and you can't cover them all. Each of the guns has a limited amount of ammo and different firing characteristics such as real life fining distance limitations and damage ratings. Also whats unique with Hard Knocks you pay for the time played so if you die your timer stops and starts again when you start playing again. As for now, there are no respawns so when you die your gun stops working and you wait till the next mission.

The Office Arena - The Hard Knocks office arena is themed to resemble a corporate urban environment. Its authentic details include a drop ceiling, fluorescent lighting, and several single-person offices for close quarters combat (CQB). Inside the office arena, combatants will navigate obstacles like cubicles, filing cabinets, and desks, and other props will provide cover. You won't find any inflatable obstacles here. Additionally, since our weapons have muzzle flash, we let the combatants control the lighting in the arena as part of their strategy and tactics.

The Warehouse Arena - The best thing about our warehouse arena is that it's fully air-conditioned. When entering the warehouse arena, you will see 24-foot ceilings, ramps, beams, and other authentic details because they are functional parts of the warehouse. The remaining obstacles are items such as crates, barrels, and equipment typically found in a warehouse. The warehouse arena has a much more open feel, perfect for sniper fire and anti personnel-mines.

The Coliseum - If the office arena is a fictional company and the warehouse arena is that company's distribution center for all its sinister dealings, it's only natural that they be connected. On special occasions and for some special events, we will open both up as one giant arena. There are several pass-through opportunities between the two, including several large roll-up doors and a few single-person doors, so you will never hit a bottleneck. Just imagine the possibilities in over 24,000 square feet of themed air-conditioned space!

From Hard Knocks: The weapons found at Hard Knocks use technology adapted from military combat simulation training. Unlike laser tag, Hard Knocks weapons "shoot" with infrared light, infrared light, which is completely eye-safe and is the spectrum of choice for military-grade combat simulation equipment. Weapons at Hard Knocks have no projectile, meaning the experience is pain-free and requires no safety gear. Each weapon has a red dot laser scope and different configuration, including realistic size, weight, sound, performance, and even muzzle flash.

If you are anything like me you are either drooling right now or you are thinking, what do they look like in reality and is it going to feel like a toy. (I.E. Airsoft)
