Patriot Viper Series 4GB DDR3-1800 kit

Patriot

Packaging:

The Patriot PVS34G1800LLKN DDR3-1800 4GB DDR3 kit comes packaged in a large flat RAM package. The RAM tends to fall out of the notches in the packaging, so it may roll around during shipping. This could cause the RAM to rub together and scratch the paint.

Heatsinks:

The heatsinks on the Patriot DDR3-1800 kit are shaped somewhat like teeth. The thing that scares me is how lightweight these heatsinks feel. By inspection they don't look like they would do a great job, but the people at Patriot aren't dummies.
