We see from the image on the left that the RAM is running at 800.1MHz, so 800.1 x 2 = 1600.2MHz. We also see that our timings are 8-11-11-30. This does not correspond to our 8-8-8-24 as seen a few pages back, but we didn't attempt to tweak it.

The Memtach benchmark took 26.90 seconds to run at 1600MHz. This is compared to the same test at 1375MHz, which took 27.18 seconds. As you can see from the picture above, the following results were extracted:

This agrees with our expected conditions, which shows that faster frequencies produce faster test speeds.

Performance Test 6.1 shows us that the Patriot DDR3-1800 RAM running at 1600MHz gives us 774.5 operations per second, the Memory Mark result shows an average of 666.6, and a PassMark rating of 120.0. We saw earlier that the DDR3-1800 RAM running at 1375MHz gives us 761.5 operations per second, the Memory Mark result shows an average of 661.7, and a PassMark rating of 119.1.

The RightMark test was run on the RAM at 1600MHz giving us 4 minutes, 02 seconds. This compares to the previous run at 1375MHz giving us 4 minutes, 03 seconds.

During the Cache and Memory test, the Patriot DDR3-1800 kit registered 36.869 GB/sec. This did not rank well with our SiSoft test, as it is essentially based on the RAM timings against DDR2 RAM with lower timings. The previous test at 1375MHz ranked 35.936 GB/sec.

The same rule applies to the Memory Bandwidth test. The tighter the RAM timings, the better the results. Our tests show the memory bandwidth for the DDR3-1800 RAM at 1600MHz were 5825MB/sec for Int buffered iSSE2, and 5830MB/sec for Float buffered iSSE2. This compares to 1375MHz at 5789MB/sec for Int buffered iSSE2, and 5784MB/sec for Float buffered iSSE2.

Finally, our Memory Latency test for 1600MHz shows 75ns, ranking #1 against the other Processor/Chipset combos. This compares to 79ns for 1375MHz.
