Overall, I would say for the average cost of $19.99 the 2GB flash drive is durable, adorable and extremely easy to use and transport. In addition, it is one of the few computer products that appeal directly to girls and children. The mirror/interchangeable picture frame is perfect for today's tween. I also like this flash drive because even though it is marketed more towards a youthful market, there is no lack in quality on the part of A-DATA . The flash drive is tightly secured inside the base, the mirror is crystal clear and there are no visible chips or scuffs in the paint from where it dried. Its the little things like paint quality can make or break a products lifespan.
The flash drive is a very solid drive. It's very consistent and will work perfectly for everyday use. When comparing this flash drive to others, my only concern is that rather than paying for quality, you are paying for the Disney theme. There are other flash drives on the market such as the 2GB Kingmax flash drive that had a read speed of 17.22 MB/s. That flash drive is currently selling on Amazon for $7.99. Granted it is 2MB/s slower than the A-DATA drive, however, it is also twelve dollars cheaper. It just comes down to what do you want more, to be trendy or to be practical?
Personally, in this case, I choose trendy!
