Conclusion:
Techware Labs would like to take this time to thank Kingmax for providing us their newest PC3200 memory for review. Please give Kingmax a round of applause for apparently being the first company to have their DDR400 memory ready for the end user.
Based on benchmark scores, running a system at 200 FSB (or 190 in our case) using the Kingmax PC3200 memory will yield a performance boost. The results show that DDR400 will benefit a computer's overall gaming, multimedia, and speed to some degree.
The Kingmax PC3200 memory is a must for overclockers and enthusiast alike. Motherboards will soon be supporting the DDR400 technology and this
memory is ready to take the user to the cutting edge of technology.
Overall, the Kingmax TinyBGA PC3200 DDR RAM is a fast stick of memory built using state-or-the-art 5-nanosecond memory modules that incorporate an
intriguing and revolutionary TinyBGA technology. The only complaint about this amazing product is that the memory needs a voltage increase to operate
at its specified frequency. However, during testing, we also had to increase the CPU's voltage to 1.85+ volts for stability, so this could be caused
by the motherboard. This issue will be looked into. Please watch this page for new updates.
For the mean time, Techware Labs would like to award Kingmax our Editor's Choice Award for sampling the first DDR400 / PC3200 memory, in addition to all the beneficial features exhibited by this fine product.
Thank you for reading our evaluation of the Kingmax TinyBGA DDR400 PC3200 memory. Please watch for an upcoming article about overclocking Crucial PC2100 memory. Questions, comments, and suggestions are always welcome.
