Thoughts and Conclusion
When testing the claim that this printer can print 55 4-line address labels in a minute, the results were close. Our testing methodology clocked this at 1 minute 5 seconds from the time the Print button was pressed to when the last label finished printing. Considering that it took a couple seconds to process and send the information to printer, we'll generally approve the claim. Using this printer and the supplied software definitely beats the hassle of figuring out how to print envelopes or an entire sheet of labels in Microsoft Word.
The DYMO LabelWriter Twin Turbo is a very solid product and is a great solution for homes, home offices, or any small businesses that deal with sending packages, letters, or just use labels or tags with any regularity. There are not a lot of products that do the same thing that LabelWriter does, much less as well. Even without plethora of competition, DYMO created a quality printer and impressively user-friendly and featureful software suite that make the package worthwhile on its own merits, and a daunting reference point for competitors.
