The FIC Condor

FIC

Conclusion

FIC has a definite winner with the Condor. It is as portable as any LAN gamer could want, and offers almost as much power as a primary desktop system, in much less space. If you are tired of lugging around a 30-pound desktop to events, the Condor may be a feasible option for you. When upgraded with a powerful aftermarket video card, the Condor becomes a fairly powerful, portable, and stylish gaming machine. TechwareLabs considers the Condor to be a great little machine that been engineered beautifully, with some small flaws that won't keep its usefulness down. Heat will be a problem in any SFF machine and FIC's approach to drawing air from the bottom through the top is excellent, and only really needs an additional fan to assist when obstructive cards are added. It is a wonderful machine that could be used for an HTPC, general use desktop alternative, or SFF LAN gaming machine.

FIC titled the Condor "The Gamer's Best Friend," and due to its uncharacteristic upgradeability and potential performance, it lives up to this title. TWL is happy to give the FIC Condor its Recommended Product Award.
