Hardware Pub decided to compare the FIC AN11 to a similar Intel system, based on the VIA P4X266A chipset, which was derived from the VIA KT266A chipset found on the Stealth. The Intel system uses an Intel Pentium 4 Northwood 1.6A processor. Although lower clocked than the 1666 MHz Athlon XP 2000+, the 1.6A has a Quad-Pumped FSB and double the L2 cache, hence making it a fair fight.

Gaming Benchmarks:

Quake 3 Arena

V-sync off

High Quality settings.

The FIC AN11 motherboard performs well against its Intel counterpart.

3DMark2001 Second Edition

3DMark2001 is run with its default settings.

More Benchmarks ahead.
