Conclusions:

As a buyer you will have to make note of the attributes that weigh most heavily on your daily use and long term needs. We have put together a small list of the Pro's and Con's of the Assassin Notebook to assist our readers with making decisions.

Pros:
- The 1680 x 1050 display is a very nice wide aspect resolution. The SuperClear glossy screen provides very vibrant colors.
- The 20" size will definately get you noticed as the owner of an extremely "high-end" notebook, not to mention the large display and layout make its ease of use and display visibility rival even some home computer systems.
- The AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile @ TL-60 2.0 Ghz is a proven notebook mobile processor that provides great performance for the price. This processor is no slouch.
- The access speeds and boot times, enhanced by the dual Seagate hard drives in Raid-0, was extremely fast.
- The Touchpad's scroll bar was easy to use. Touchpad turn-off feature is a big plus for those that game using a mouse to prevent those accidental finger/thumb touches that stop your mouse from working.
- The fastest workstation and gaming category laptop we have been able to test to date, with its' dual nVidia Quadro 2500M cards, this workstation was able to handle anything we wanted to test on it.

Cons:
- The large 20"display area may have been enhanced even better if it would have had a higher resolution range somewhere into the 1900 range. The current maximum resolution was topped at 1680x1050.
- At the time of this review, It was too bad that KillerNotebooks did not offer this exact model, but with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and with the ability to set the fans to 'max-fans' via a hotkey. Otherwise the Assassin might have been considered to be the perfect workstation/gaming notebook solution. In our inquiries to Killer Notebooks we have discovered that they have made the identical requests to their suppliers and once a model in the 20 inch range becomes available Killer Notebooks will evaluate it and if determined good enough it will be offered.
- Price: At the time of this review, The unit we received came in at approx. $4,397.00. Although we think this unit is worth the investment, the price has to be placed into the Cons section merely because it is on the expensive side. Bear in mind that the price is based upon the high-end components selected and put into this Desktop Workstation replacement.

With the Assassin, KillerNotebooks have created a notebook that will put a star in the eye, of people looking for a workstation and yet also a gaming notebook in a mobile solution. The Assassin demonstrates that they can put together a very solid and high performing notebook whose target market consists of the workstation (computer aided design, animation, digital video editing, game development) and hi-tech game enthusiast.

Check out the current offerings from the people at KillerNotebooks.com and should you have any questions and/or concerns, make sure to give them a call. You will not be dissapointed.
