Killer Notebooks Uchigatana
Conclusion:
The Uchigatana is another excellent laptop from Killer Notebooks, we simply can't put our finger on the practical uses for such a beast. The manufacturer claims a 100 minute battery life and we found in our tests that at full power the Uchigatana actually ran for 109 minutes and using a power saver mode will gain you a mere 20 additional minutes. We love the addition of e-Sata and all of the optional extras but simply wish they made this laptop in a mobile chipset so we could save ourselves the burnmarks on our thighs and gainan additional hour of battery life.
For those that must have the desktop equivilant in their mobile computers and demand the power the Uchigatana is certainly up to the task. You have the ability to play games, be mobile, and the power for demanding workloads at the same time without the need for compromise. With looks to die for and high quality the Uchigatana aims to please if you can stand the sub par battery life when compared to a true mobility chipset laptop. Loaded with features we loved the Uchigatana, now where is the mobile version?
