Vidabox Premium Wireless Keyboard with Laser Mouse

VidaBox

Testing:

Once the keyboard was installed and synced with the computer it was ready to use. For testing the wireless keyboard there are a couple things that we could test, such as the wireless connectivity, wireless range, and ease of use.
A connectivity issue would be when the keyboard losses its connection to the computer, which could result in keys being pressed not realized by the computer. After using the device until the batteries wore down, I experienced no connectivity issues. Every button that I had pressed was realized by the computer.

The wireless distance is the distance in which the keyboard will still work. For testing this we first made sure that if we were sitting on our couch that we could still operate the home theatre PC at about 10-15 feet, and we could. Next we tried to find the furthest distance away from the computer that the keyboard would still work, this was around 25-30 feet.

Last is the ease of use. When it comes to a single device that works as both your keyboard and mouse you are sometimes skeptical about how easy it is to use, or if it is comfortable to use. At first using the trackball mouse was a little annoying but after using it for an hour or two I start to become more comfortable using it. As for the keyboard portion of the device, it was easy to use as it using a full size keyboard.

Conclusion:

The Vidabox Premium Wireless Keyboard with Laser Mouse is both compact and easy to use. With the unique placement of the track mouse you can easily navigate your desktop or even surf the web. When compared against other wireless keyboards / mice of its type, the Vidabox Premium Keyboard definitely ranks among the top. And for a low price of only $69.99, this keyboard is a must have for those with media center PCs.
