Wolf King Trooper MVP Gaming Mouse Review

Packaging:
The box that it comes in is rather stylish, with lists of all the product features. Looking from the outside, the Trooper MVP looks to be about the size of a Logitech G5. Upon closer inspection, though, it's actually flared out more at the bottom. At first I thought this was kind of deceptive to show the mouse cropped to about the same size as another product, but when I actually started to use it and feel how ergonomic it was, the sin was forgiven.

The Unfair Advantage:
What better place is there to test a gaming mouse than at a TechwareLabs LAN Party? For testing we played Call of Duty 4. The Trooper MVP features variable DPI and variable auto-firing (either 2, 3, 4 shots per click). I'll be the first to admit that my Call of Duty skills are mediocre at best, however the auto-fire setting helps give me an edge in that it can turn a M9 (Pistol) or M21 (Sniper Rifle) into an automatic weapon. The high variable DPI also means that I can use my mad twitch gaming skills (which I'm still honing) to aim and fire off 4 rounds before they can fire off 1. All the features in the world can't make up for raw fragging talent (which I'm still developing), but in the hand of a skilled frag master, the Trooper MVP can give you an unfair advantage.
