Final Thoughts and Conclusion:

Overall, the Multimedia Station E-Z is an example of a great product that is just a bit rough around the edges. The remote is functional, though the layout could use some improvement for low-light usage. The iMedian software was originally designed for the Korean market, and it shows in the slightly clunky menu text and HUGE default font. Despite these warts, there is much to love. The list of supported formats is exhaustive; the only common format not supported is Apple's DRM-laden M4P audio container, and nothing but iTunes is going to get at those anyway. Navigation is seamless, and video playback is smooth, even with fast-action high-definition content. Sound quality is good, and the program behaves itself on consuming system resources. For a budget package, the Antec Veris Multimedia Station E-Z is a solid performer that will be at home in any office or dorm room.
