Logitech diNovo Mini

Closer Look:

The installation of the software was pretty straight forward.  It installs the needed drivers and the SetPoint software.  SetPoint gives you all the basic control over the DiNovo Mini that you need, including changing the pointer speed and hot keys.

The DiNovo Mini has two modes of operation, Touch-Pad Mode and Media Remote Mode.  Touch-Pad mode, which is back lighted orange, works exactly like a keyboard.  The ClickPad works like the touch pad on a laptop.  Media-Remote mode, back lighted green, works like a remote control for Windows XP Media Center Edition or Windows Vista Media Center.

The bottom is rubberized to assure a non-slip grip.   It’s overall design is quite nice, fits in with any décor and doesn’t look like a computer keyboard at all.  The Mini has a smoke color cover to keep dust out and the clam shell design is easy on the hands.

Conclusion:

This product is exactly what I was looking for.  I was getting so sick of trying to type of a media center remote.  Now that I have the DiNovo Mini I actually use my entertainment center PC.  I would highly recommend this to anyone with a PC connected to the television.
