Battery Life

There are many blogs out there that claim the iPhone has a short battery life. Anyone that has ever owned an iPod before knows that if you play with it a lot it will die quickly. This is just something that Apple is notorious for. With Apple claiming 250 hours of stand-by time, 8 hours of talk time, 6 hours of internet use, 7 hours of video playback, and up to 24 hours of audio playback, they have not led us astray. We were able to test the battery life and match the results that apple provided us. We were able to turn off features such as bluetooth and wi-fi, then lower the brightness to almost zero, and in doing so were able to beat apples claims (excluding stand-by time) If you are experiencing battery problems with an iPhone of your own, try lowering the brightness to about 75%. We find this to be the best way to extend your battery life other than turning off bluetooth and wi-fi. It makes a barely noticeable difference to the user and greatly prolongs life of the battery.

Conclusion

The Apple iPhone is an amazing phone with all the capabilities of an iPod and a PDA. Despite popular belief, the iPhone is extremely durable. We have heard that the screen breaks easily and have tested this theory - the iPhone prevails. Being an iPhone, we found this to be more of a phone than an iPod. The internet is slow at times but still does the job, and does it well. We have yet to experience any problems with the iPhone that software updates could not fix. This phone is more than we can ask for. With 8GB of memory, there is more than enough room for pictures and all of your favorite songs. With full internet capabilities this phone is fit for any lifestyle. If you happen to be in the market for a new phone, the iPhone is something that you should check out, whether your an Apple fan or not.
