PowerMax Digital Antenna 4KMR-10A

Installation

The installation of the device in the automobile was extremely simple. The hardest part was pulling up carpet along the doors to hide the antenna cable. The booster was tossed under the passenger seat and the lighter plug was tucked under the center console till it came out next to the cigarette lighter. The antenna inside the automobile was run up the B pillar and with provided double-back tape was affixed to the top of the B pillar and the roof (inside). The outside antenna was ran under the carpet from the passenger seat to the trunk and then ran out the trunk and with the antenna’s magnet the antenna sits on the trunk lid. There was some relocation done before both antenna’s were set in permanent locations due to each antenna must not be able to pickup each other (shown by a red light on the power adapter and booster).

4KMR-10A System Includes:
3 watt dual band 40dB gain cellular repeater (DA4000MR) *
Internal slim patch antenna with cable ( CA09P )
External 3dB gain magnetic mount antenna with cable ( CA55M )
12 VDC power converter ( DP515 )

Application: Vehicles with metal roofs (not for use in convertibles or in vehicles with composite roofs)
Range/Performance: Amplifies cellular signal up to 20+ miles
Advantage: Wirelessly enhances signals of multiple cell phones within a standard vehicle interior
Requirement: 3' separation and a metal roof between inside and outside antennas

Internal antenna. TWL ran the cable up B-pillar of the to head liner. Since the inside antenna is just 1/8inch thick, it was not in the way of any passengers head.

External antenna came with plenty of extra cable to run it under the carpet and behind internal panels. Also the antenna itself has an internal magnet which keeps the antenna afixed to the roof of the auto even at high speeds (highway driving).

The power module also comes with plenty of extra cable if you choose to mount the booster in the trunk of your car, you should have plenty of power cable to run underneath the carpet to your power source in the front of your car.

Finally the booster. With rough measurements of 4" X 4.5" X 1.5", and weighing in less than 1/4lbs the booster is something you will be able to easily hide anywhere.
