Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

With Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Activision finally took the franchise away from World War II and put it in a much more modern setting. With this comes newer technologies to show and, as with any sequel, better graphics. I will be running two different benchmarks for this game. One on full settings (textures, antistrophic filtering,v-sync, etc.), AAx4 and 1920x1200 resolution, and the other with full settings, AA off and 1920x1200 resolution. To get these results I will be using FRAPS to get the average FPS for a 5 minute demo. Lets see how the card fairs.
Call of Duty 4 Benchmark

The ATI Radeon HD 4850 performed very well in both runs. As you can see, the difference between AAx4 and no AA is only about 10FPS average. Bringing the resolution down to a more common size would easily give you 60+FPS with AAx4, perfect for multiplayer and more than enough for single player.
