The inside of the Scorpio case is a true dream, there is a ton of room for mounting hardware, plenty of fan mounts and a great design when it comes to airflow and case cooling. The hard drive cage and 3.5 drive cage are removable via a small lever on the top of the cage. Simply pushing the lever back and sliding the cage out will allow you to mount internal hard drives and floppy drives without difficulty. The mounting of the 5.25 drives is another great feature of the case. Drives are mounted by securing small plastic rails with metal clips to the sides of the drive itself. Once the rails are secured to the drive you slide the drive in place through the front of the case. The metal clips snap into place and the drive is secure. This makes replacement or swapping of drives quick and easy. Although the motherboard tray is not removable, there is enough room in the case to mount it rather easily. Power supply installation is just as easy as the rest of the components. A removable and reversible bracket is attached to the power supply and once secured the power supply is set in place on top of 2 support rails in the case. Once positioned correctly the power supply bracket is secured into place by 4 screws. The wiring of the lights on the front of the case may seem a little tricky at first since no instructions were included with the case, but its really rather easy to figure out. A molex connector is supplied for the blue LED logo on the door of the case, simply plug that into a free molex connector from the power supply. The HDD indicator lights on the door are plugged into the existing harness of the case and then routed to the motherboard. The rest of the connections for the power and reset buttons are standard plastic connectors which go directly into the motherboard. There are 3 fans supplied with this case, 1 tri-LED 80mm fan mounted in the clear window of the side panel door and 2 clear 80mm fans are mounted in the rear of the case on plastic snap in holders. There is also room for 2 more additional 80mm fans in the front of the case, 1 can be mounted in the plastic snap in holder in front of the hard drive cage and 1 80mm fan can be installed at the front bottom of the case in another plastic snap in holder. Lets move on to case performance.
