Test Setup
We decided to test these modules on the same setup we reviewed the 3200XLPRO almost a year ago with some modifications.
- CPU: Intel P4 3.0Ghz (800FSB) [ Prescott ]
- Motherboard: Intel D875PBZ
- OS: Windows XP Service Pack II (Slipstreamed Clean Install)
- Graphics: Sapphire All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro 128Mb AGP
- Driver: Catalyst 5.7
- HD: Seagate 120GB
- DirectX: 9.0c
We've split up the benchmarks in to stock settings and overclocked settings comparing the 3200XL and the 3200XLPRO head to head. After the 3200XL was tested, the system was clean installed and BIOS defaults loaded to ensure optimal benchmarks.
