Albatron:
Albatron is relatively a newcomer to the mainboard (motherboard) production
market. Albatron began making motherboards in 2002. In two short years Albatron
has produced several excellent products and is an Nvidia certified vendor
as well as ViA, SiS, and Ali Design Partners. In 2002 Albatron also began
producing graphics and communications devices. Many gamers are familiar with
their graphics cards and example of which can be seen here.
Today TWL has the K8X800 Pro II in the labs for a round of testing. The K8X800
Pro II is built around the VIA K8T800 northbridge and 8237 Southbridge. See
the graphic below for the VIA chipset layout.
