Sisoft Sandra gives users the ability to compare their current setup against other components and systems and uses synthetic testing to derive a score from which a user can gain a general understanding of relative performance.
The results really speak for themselves. Even on a synthetic level the FX-60 pulls far ahead of the Pentium 4 840 EE in all tests except for the Sisoft Whetstone test where the margin is still close. Anyone not convinced of AMD’s advantage at this point should look into getting glasses.
