But I own an ATI card...:

Currently, AMD has the fastest graphics card out on the market. The 4870x2 All that horsepower and no PhysX to calculate with....... or is there?

There is some work being done by Eran Badit of ngohq.com to convert the CUDA SDK and the PhysX SDK to run on Radeon cards. It's still up in the air (as of writing) as to whether or not this project will come to fruition. However in an unlikely event, Nvidia has offered support to Eran for his project, so there may be hope yet for ATI card owners yet.

Mac Isn't Left Out!:

Apple fan boys rejoice! On August 19 Nvidia released the CUDA SDK in a beta form for use on Macs with OS X 10.5.2 or later. Apple has the download available on their web site. Now Mac users can enjoy all the benefits of CUDA enhanced software.

Macs aren't the only ones joining PC at the CUDA table. Nvidia invited Mac's cousin Linux. Nvidia offers support for the major distros of Linux in both the 32-bit and 64-bit flavor.
