Download and Install Compiz Configuration Setting Manager:

The Compiz Configuration Setting Manager will allow you to enable a lot of new visual effects.  A list of these visual effects will be located on the next page.  The main effect that most users like is the cube desktop, being able to have four different desktops and being able to switch between them with ease.

1. Open Synaptic Package Manager (shown on page XX)

2. Search for compizconfig-settings-manager

3. Double click it and “mark” it

4. Now press “Apply” to download and install the packages marked.
