Enable 3D-Cube and other Visual Effects:
These visual effects will only show up after you have successfully installed CompizConfig Setting Manager, shown on the previous page.
1. Click System – Preferences – Appearance
2. Click on the Visual Effects Tab
3. There now should be a “Custom” option, this was just added from getting the Compiz Configuration Settings Manager, from the previous step. Click on radial button next to the Custom choice and then press Preferences.
4. To turn on the 3D Cube, make sure that the “Desktop Cube” and also “Rotate Cube” are checked. There are many more options here that will allow you to add many different effects to the Operating system.
