What a difference! You must be thrilled. Great job with the arrangement.

One thing I might suggest: keep your subwoofer away from the computer - the stero system in another room has made my fans all start to buzz loudly and now some are even clicking.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. Surprisingly enough on my system, the hard drive is running as smooth as ever and has never crashed or anything. It's a WD though.

Mucho Improvemento!

I have to have a good deal of motivation to re-organize something that I've been used to for awhile...then again, if I'm not getting work done efficiently then changes have to be made. And look what it's done for you!

Looking good, bud....now keep it that way! >

yeah, thats the hard part. maybe keep a map of everything on ur hard drive and then reorganize it every few months or so. mine wouldn't be hard to organize but thats cuz there isn't so much equipment.

Very Nice. That is a lot better
u should have any speakers that aren't shielded away from the computer. The speakers that come with a stereo system can damage the computer as well as other computer components. I have a shielded speaker system near my comp and it doesn't interfere with anything.

I'm 99% sure these are shielded...I get no visual distortions when they're directly next to my monitor, and they were designed for computer systems, so I think I'm safe (but yeah, I did know that). I'd check the manual to be extra certain, but I seem to have misplaced it. Hrm...:/.

Well, I've found only one small flaw since I've been up and running with my new setup. It's slightly more difficult to access the back of my computers than it was before. Granted, this shouldn't be a big issue the majority of the time, as it is a desktop computer, and thus spends the majority of its time at my desktop (well, floortop), with static connections in the back.

I'll see if it's a major pain when I go to my next LAN party, but I think it's definately worth the small inconvenience.
