Default Horrible video overlay!

Hmm...I have no idea what is causing this, but it's really starting to irritate me! I have a backup computer I built out of spare parts I had. It's pretty decent...Duron 850, 128M RAM, GF2 GTS(AGP), Voodoo3 3000(PCI), on-board via sound, 3.2G HD, 40x CD, and some video capture stuff.

Here's my problem...when I go to play just about any type of video file, the overlay is full of vertical green lines. Also, the sound is sometimes effected, and has a constant buzz in the backgroud... I think I did try one MPEG1 video that acctually didn't cause any problems. But everything else is horrible. I've tried to update to DirectX 8.1, update some codecs, and update Media Player, but it's all the same...

Any ideas?

Are you running dual display with the two video cards, or do you just have the PCI in there for fun? I'd suggest trying to disable one, and use the other, and then the other way around, to see if you can isolate the problem to a particular video card. If the Voodoo 3 seems to be the culprit, try voodoofiles.com, and experiment a bit with different drivers.

Ah yes...forgot to mention... I do have the Voodoo disabled for now. I do plan to used it somtime, maybe if I can ever get a good duel display going(Monitor - Premiere, TV - Whatever I'm editing)

And, I think I'm using drivers from Voodoofiles. Not exactly sure which ones...

*Quick Update*
I just reloaded windows 98SE, used the latest drivers for both video cards, and finally tried to just removed the Voodoo. Still wont work correctly

Maybe a bad video card???
