Yea, I just got notified by my hosting company saying they were hit as well,. http://www.uplinkearth.com

I got this:
Dear uplinkearth Customer,

Network status has been restored to normal operation.

The cause of the outage was a result of a computer worm (a type
of virus) called “W32.SQLExp.Worm” that targets Microsoft SQL
2000 servers. This virus exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft
SQL 2000 servers with the intention of flooding networks with
bogus network traffic to slow network performance. Data housed
on Microsoft SQL 2000 Servers was not affected.

For more information about the virus see the following CNN
article (make sure you copy the entire link):
http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/interne...t.attack/index
.html

If you are running Microsoft SQL Server 2000 on your local
computer or network, download the patch from Microsoft here
(make sure you copy the entire link):
