yea so am I, and u didnt need any special fix or anything to get it to work? Did u buy the new edition one that is compatible with XP?

I ran riven back when I had it (older version) fine under Windows 2000. Makes no sense though because it should be the other way around: Works with XP, not with 2k... :/

Weird. I played Riven and Myst and personally didn't really like them. Too much brain juice required and not enough blood

The Windows compatibility wizard should work. Since it's not, I would suggest the emulator or even a dual boot partition like already mentioned. Of course however much hassle you want to go through depends on how much its worth it to you.
