Not sure about index files.
Always deleted it and no probs so far ...
As far as I understand it contains all the crap, so if you ain't delete it ain't clean anything

Just checked the fresh Opera. It deletes all the crap with single click. Smart browser, highly recommended

Does the newest version of opera support websites that have spaces in their filenames?  I experiemented with an older version and that was one of the problems i had with it.  Maybe we should just get all the stupid web programmers to learn to NOT HAVE SPACES IN FILENAMES.  Sorry, i got carried away...

I forgot if it is system mechanic or what but
it can be made to put this in autoexec.bat
so why not do it oneself ?

About Opera 6.01 again, seems like it often crashes under heavy load (~25 loading windows) in W2K. Anybody ?
