Altec Lansing Orbit MP3 iM237

Conclusion: A family that plays together, stays together

At the end of the day, the Orbit MP3 does a great job of delivering great results by exceeding at what it's supposed to do and not promising to do too much else. One thing I would have appreciated is a charging port so it could be plugged in at night, but then the Orbit wouldn't be the no nonsense, straight-shooting little speaker that I enjoyed so much.

If you want room-filling sound from a compact, dockable unit that will charge your iPod and get you out of the bed in the morning, check out the rest of the inMotion line. If you want something a little more portable that will aid you in ignoring your kid at his soccer games or to play you and your hooligan friends some tunes while you refinish worn out pews and clean rat's nests out of pipe organs, the Orbit MP3 is right for you. Regardless of which member of the family you choose, Altec Lansing's commitment to producing quality products with great sound will always put a smile on your face.

Altec Lansing's small but powerful little one, the Orbit MP3, is available from Altec Lansing for $39.99.
