FrozenCPU Blizzard 900 See Through Black

A Closer Look: The External

Upon first inspection of the Blizzard 900 I noticed that the build quality of the case was quite high. The black paint used on the exterior of the case is somewhat glossy and not dull unlike other black cases and does not scratch easily. It does tend to leave the oil residue from your fingers if you touch case often.

Below are some shots of the rear of the case. Nothing really out of the ordinary from other cases. Also you can see that the case comes with a power supply standard. You will also notice the lack of thumbscrews used in this case. Well you can't get everything in a case with this price. Moving to the front of the case you will automatically notice the emphasized power button to the right of the floppy bays. There is no way you can miss that thing. Located a few inches below the power button is the much smaller rest button and HD LED. Looking at the bottom of the case now you can see that there are 4 round plastic feet which keep the case off the ground about half an inch. They should do the job fairly well.

Moving to the front of the case again the bottom portion of the front bezel contains many holes. What are these holes for you ask? Obviously these holes are intended to let air get sucked through them by the two front mounted 80mm fans which are optional. This provides many cooling possibilities. Give this case to someone with modding expertise and I'm sure a radiator for a watercooling setup can be easily placed there.

Now as I mentioned before this case comes with your choice of color window installed. The window takes up pretty much of the side panel and is not just a plain rectangle or circle. The window Frozencpu has decided to use for the Blizzard 900 is somewhat of an L shape. These windows are typically used in larger towers or even server towers but sure looks great on this case. With the optional cold cathode I received this case is phat. Also not to forget to mention the extra two USB ports and multimedia ports that are located on the bottom right side of the bezel. A nifty little accessory which I always like.

Lets move to the inside of the case now.
