A Closer look: Exterior Case Structure

The first look of the Cooler Master HAF 932 is presented with a black box with a photo of the case on a black background. I was handed this box at the last TWL LAN party and I nearly dropped it as the box had some notable weight to it. The packaging once opened has the standard styrofoam and a simple plastic bag over the case. Not too much of a surprise as far as packaging is concerned. The HAF 932 is a very solid case and arrived without any damage to the case, so any additional packaging would not be needed.

Back of the box showing more detail on the HAF 932

The case was looked over meticulously to get a better understanding how each feature is presented and how it can be used as designed. Below are a few photos of the exterior and some brief descriptions. Next we will take a closer look at the inside.

The rigidity of the HAF 932 case is shown clearly by looking at the right side of the case with its stamped into the case wall to provide additional strength to the wall.
From the front and top of the case you can see that this is no ordinary case with a power and reset button, the USB, Audio, E-SATA port are right up front where they can be easily accessed.
The left side of the case, sports an in your face case fan mounted to an acrylic window just below another case window showing off the guts of your rig.
The back of the case has the setup that is the best layout on the market today. The power supply is located at the bottom of the case and waterline holes with grommets are supplied for those who choose to go with water cooling.

The front six 5.25" bays have a quick release face plate which a welcome change from the older plates which never seem to stay in place.
From this view of the top, you can see the large ventilation area for any heat to escape. This is also the area where any water kit can be installed with ease as the top is setup for mounting points for radiators.
The top of the case is also setup for an area where you can store thumb drives, remote controls, etc. This area is also setup with a rubber mat that when removed provides you with access to fill any water kit with ease.
