Aluminum Fan Adapters:

Horse of Iron's aluminum fan adapters have to be seen to be fully appreciated. These finely crafted and functional adapters are available in several different sizes. Each adapter is milled from solid aluminum and then finished to a surprising level of detail. The amount of engineering and work is evident when you take a close look at edges and surfaces. For the price that Horse of Iron suggests for its 120mm to 80mm adapter they could have stopped at simply milling the item to fit fans for those sizes, instead it is evident that the adapter has been finished and surfaces smoothed. sharp edges from milling have been removed and indeed the screw holes have been slightly countersunk. The inside surface that would face the fan is milled to be optimal for airflow and is also hand finished. All screw holes are cleanly bored and free from any obstruction. The milling marks evident from the machine in which these pieces were cut add to the overall look and feel of the adapters.
