Conclusion:
The FIC is an excellent board if you are looking for the best performance for your money. It has an excellent range of features and performs well at stock speeds. The FIC K8-800T was totally stable and TWL was unable to bring the system down (even though we tried) using normal programs and stress tests. A consumer seeking a stable 64 bit platform who will not be overclocking this board should be extremely happy with both the performance and the price tag. Plentiful USB ports, and a nice board and bios layout will make the average consumers setup a breeze.
For the enthusiast the FIC K8-800T is a mixed bag, its features are plenty but not overwealming and the lack of gigbit and the extra 2 audio channels might be missed by the serious performance nut. Those with many external devices will likely find the extra USB's on the I/O bracket appealing as well as the numerous extra PCI slots. Setup was a breeze in the bios, however, the lack of a PCI and AGP lock will be sorely missed by those who want to push this board to its limits.
Overall TWL has no problems recommending this board to the average consumer and easily for any workstations. It will outperform almost every 32bit processor on the market when paired with the latest AMD 64. For gamers and enthusiasts where money is less of a concern TWL would suggest checking out a board that allows for a working PCI/AGP lock and some advanced tweak settings, just be prepared to spend much more cash.
