Killer Notebooks Executioner-SR

Gameplay Performance

If some notebooks are created to be portable, for office applications, or to browse the internet then the Executioner-SR was bred to be a gaming platform with excellent power for everything you could need. No where is that more demonstrated than in its performance in games. We threw the two newest games at the Executioner-SR and bring you the results. It's important to remember that the Executioner-SR brings to the table the Go 7950 GTX powerhouse video card with 512MB of non-shared video ram. Don't underestimate this card as its quite capable of outperforming your desktop video card. Anything under an 8800 level card doesn't really stand a chance. For mobile gamers the 7950 GTX is really the highest gaming card you can buy right now that will probably not melt a hole tthrough your desktop or cause blisters on your legs and palms. The cooling mods done to the Executioner-SR allow this ultra high end desktop to run very cool as we mentioned before.

BioShock

Few notebooks have the raw CPU and graphic horsepower to play this game, and as mentioned before machines with the same specifications can easily turn in much different performance. The Executioner-SR was able to play BioShock at 1280x1024 with all the details turned on high without any stutter. This result is a combination of the more than adequate CPU, Video Card (7950GTX), and Hard Drive (7200 rpm). Graphically BioShock is a title with an amazing amount of detail and may be the default benchmark for the graphics power of a machine for a long time to come. Lighting, textures, and detail is all here and with a gusto. Our demonstrations of the Executioner-SR playing BioShock to many gamers drew stares and quite a bit of inquiry. At a recent Tech Expo at which Dell was present with their 17 Inch XPS systems, we attempted to play BioShock and were denied until a lot of prodding. The end result, the XPS could not play BioShock at the same settings without a lot of lag. Maximum settings were 1024x768 at medium detail in order to play without lag. BioShock was immediately removed from the system before we were allowed to take screenshots.

Enemy Territory Quake Wars

Enemy Territory Quake Wars is another impressive title that draws on the machines power quite a bit. As with all fps that employ large complex maps and a lot of textures this title requires a machine with good horsepower to play at acceptable framerates. We were able to run ETQW at 1600x1200 with all the details turned up without any issues.
