Killer Notebooks Executioner-SR
Conclusion:
We were very impressed with the Executioner-SR from the moment we opened the box to the last test. It has easily earned its place as the replacement for the original Executioner. The customizations that Killer Notebooks employs to this system have a huge impact and really help run the system stable and cool. The only downside to the Executioner-SR is the price which for a system with these specifications is not unreasonable but may be out of reach for many consumers. Few vendors offer the level of customization and personalization of your system that Killer Notebooks does in a product with such high quality. The X7900 is an amazing mobile processor but it may not really be worth the price tag attached as the T7500 performed very well and played all of our games with ease. The X7900 may fall into the category of diminishing returns for your money.
Other than our single issue with bluetooth the Executioner-SR is a nearly perfect laptop and is highly recommended for all serious gamers. If you attend LAN parties or want to game on the go with as much horsepower and capability of any desktop then the Executioner-SR is definitely the way to go. No other laptop system we have yet seen offered as much power. The Executioner-SR easily receives both our Editor's Choice Award and our Recommended Product Award.
Anyone interested in purchasing a laptop from Killer Notebooks should mention that they read our review on TechwareLabs to get a free hard drive upgrade to 160GB 7200rpm from 100GB 7200rpm.
