Installation:

The installation of the Veris Premier took all of 10 minutes. Since there is very little to do and with our computer case being outfitted with tool-less locks for the 5.25" drive bays, the process that took the longest and the most difficult was find the power lead on the motherboard and swapping it with the Veris pin out. Luckily the motherboard we were using was the ASUS MA3A78-T which is outfitted with its ingenious Q-Connector design of removable pin-out.

With the device sprawled out on the floor, the 24-pin jumper which needs to be install between the power supply doesn't look too bad, but in the end, this small jumper just added an additional four inches of more cable to the inside of the case, so for those of you who go the extra distance to hide all your cables, this addition will be a challenge. The rest of the cables were really simple to hook up and hide.
The two primary cables which is the power switch pin and the USB where an area of challenge as the motherboard was already installed in our case and getting to the jumpers would have been difficult if it wasn't for the Q-Connect. The USB shown here with the USB male adapter can be ran out the back of the case to a USB port, or if you remove the adapter, you can plug the cable into an internal USB port, if one is available. NOTE: be sure you pin out on the motherboard matches the plug on the Veris, as some older motherboard's internal USB ports have a different configuration.

After the Veris Premier is installed, it does look pretty impressive with all the buttons and navigation knobs.
The initial power is applied to PC and before it is powered on the Veris Premier lit up in a cool blue glow. Later after the iMON software was installed and PC was powered off, the Veris did NOT stay lit. Good and bad I guess.

The screen, buttons and knobs on the front of the Veris Premier are pretty handy and impressive to look at. Though after using the device for sometime, I found myself not touching the Veris since it was across the room from where I was sitting. I ended up using the remote 99% of the time. So in the end, I would gladly give up some of the buttons and even the knobs for a larger screen which as it is now can be easily read from across the room, but a bigger screen may give me more to look at.
