Antec Veris Multimedia Station Premier

Software Installation:
We powered on the PC using the remote (you can still use the computer case power if you want), which was pretty cool as from the next room (line of sight) we could power on the PC from 15' away. Instantly Vista picked up the device and loaded some default drivers. We loaded the iMON software which came on the mini CD-ROM which came with the Veris Premier. The installation was very easy and we didn't run into any issues. Within a half hour we were able to navigate and launch applications using the remote.

The iMON software was reviewed in our other media case reviews and is packed with multimedia features and programs to assist you in your multimedia navigation. One thing to note though is there is a lot of updates which come from iMON, so brace yourself to be hit up by a new release for a first few times you power on your machine. The iMON software also adds a small icon on you desktop which you can move around the screen if you want or hide altogether.

    | The iMON control can be a little annoying to those of you who don't like additional icons on you desktop, but the good thing is you can simply exit it. | The iMON software comes with iMedian HD which the software which works just like Microsoft's Media Center, so if your not running a media center OS from Microsoft, no worries, iMON has you covered. |

    | Finally, the iMON manager allows you to customize the front screen of the Veris Premier to scroll news feeds with the FrontView option and configure quick launch applications to work with the remote control. |
