Final Thoughts:

The LG Shine is definitely a phone with bling that will get noticed; especially when you’re out doors and the sun is shining. The screen having a near mirror like finish does make it a little difficult to see the screen on a bright sunny day. The integrated features such as voice dial and speed dial will assist you in the times of bright sun when you can't see to navigate your contacts. The battery life is also very impressive at this point. I used the phone quite a bit the first few days and didn't use it for several days and at the time of this review I have yet to recharge the battery nearly a week later. Now, this week included multiple calls of 30 ~ 40 mins and multiple photos and listening to MP3s, so those of users out there who live every waking moment on their phone the battery life will vary, but in comparison to my Razr, the battery in the Shine has lasted nearly twice as long between charges. The drawback of having to purchase MicroSD and the PC to phone USB cable could be seen as a pain since once I got the phone I had to then go purchase these items in order to use all of the features. Of course one could send all photos and video to their private e-mail address, if they have a data plan, but having the ability to copy the pictures and video to the PC very quickly and w/o the need for the data plan is food for thought. I enjoyed using the LG Shine and would only hope that next release of the Shine would have some sort of touch screen once slid open, or maybe buttons that are a little friendlier for us big fingered folk. TWL would like to thank LG for sending us their LG Shine and we look forward to see what LG will offer us in the future. Simply put, "Life's Good".
